Comparison | Air Fresheners

Before we begin I'd just like to confirm that I agree to the fact that this isn't like something I would normally post about but I have been a huge fan or air fresheners recently so I'd just thought I'd share it with you. If a room in my house didn't smell to good I used to just a fragrance that I had to hand. Until I picked up this febreze spray that my friend recommend to me when I saw it on offer. Then I saw this Glade one for a pound when I was running low on my original one and decided to pick it up to give it a go.

This febreze air effects spray is beautiful the scent is very homely and creates an atmosphere that seems more relaxed and breathable. I also love the design of the product. I love the little flowers over the background that represents what the product is. Normally I am not a huge fan of a vanilla scent. Majority of the time it is very strong and overwhelming in my opinion. However this scent isn't like a normal vanilla scent. It is very strong but isn't overwhelming, I can't quite work out what it is yet but there is something that makes this scent different compared to others.

Moving on to the Glade product. This is a great product for the price but it seems more of a fake scent and to strong. Compared to the other product, I think this belongs more at a office or work environment. I'm normally a huge lover of glade products as I buy there candles all the time, however this one didn't seem to float my boat as much. I think if the scent was a little toned down it would've better.

Comparison | White Nail Polish

Today's comparison post is about two white nail polishes that I have picked up recently. I have always been a firm believer of you pay for what you get, which is highly visible in this post. At first I'd never seen the excitement of white nail polish. To me it always seemed very bland and plain. But then I saw more and more people wearing a white nail polish and it seemed to go with every outfit. No matter if your style is boho or fashionista a white nail polish will compliment your look. The only problem is finding a white nail polish is hard to find. Originally I just picked up the MUA nail polish as it was cheap and I wanted to give it a go. But then I decided I actually enjoyed wearing white on my nails and wanted something of a better quality to wear.

As you can see from the photo above the MUA nail polish is pretty good for the price of the product and will be very useful for someone of a younger age or on a budget. However look how clear and crisp the Barry M nail polish is. Ever since last year when I picked up my first Barry M nail polish I have been in love with there quality for the price. To tell the truth even some brands that are more expensive then Barry M, don't withhold the same quality of the product. Overall I love the Barry M nail polish and think that it is a very good buy. Also the colour of the product can last up to a week.

The Balloon Fiesta

If you've seen my recent post called "My Summer" you might have already seen a little snippet of this post. Basically back on the 8th of August I went to the balloon fiesta with my good friend Abbey. We arrived to watch the air balloons go up which was beautiful everyone cheered each time one managed to go up. We then got some matching henna and tattoos before we walked around and had a browse at a few stalls.

We then went on a hunt to find somewhere to sit and wait for the night glow. Which for those of you who don't know is when they owners of the air balloons come together to create a display by lighting up each balloon in time to music. Whilst we waited it got a little cold so we bought some pancakes and a cup of tea to warm us up. It was at this point we found out that they had to turn people away as it was unsafe to let anyone else in, which was the first time in history. The night glow began and it was very unique and beautiful as always. We danced to the music and had a good laugh. There was also a firework display which was beautiful and had many people amazed. After a beautiful evening it was time to leave and from the bottom picture you can see how busy it was as this one only one exit out of four. Personally I loved the whole atmosphere every year I like to attend this event and I was lucky enough to go with my friend this year and create many wonderful memories.

Comparison | Dry Shampoo

I've always been a huge lover of batiste dry shampoos and have always loved the range of scents that you can pick from. However I thought I'd also try out the CoLab dry shampoo made by the YouTuber A Model Recommends. After trying the CoLab dry shampoo I don't think so highly of batiste any more and here's why.

Batiste dry shampoo in my opinion isn't as good as I original thought, this is due to the fact that when you spray it onto your hair a white spray comes out. Which makes me hair feel dirty and greasy. Another thing with batiste is that it's scents are fairly heavy and feel fake when applying. However I still like the packaging that the batiste product comes in, each and every one has it's own unique design to match its scent.

Moving on to my new love the CoLab dry shampoo by A Model Recommends. At first I bought this product as it was being shown a lot on the internet. It seemed to be in a few peoples hauls where they spoke very highly of the product. So when I went shopping and was running low on my batiste dry shampoo I thought I'd pick it up to give it a try and the results were amazing. The one thing I love about the CoLab dry shampoo is that the spray in clear meaning when you apply it to your hair it makes it feels like it's doing good rather than bad. Another thing I like about this shampoo is the scents that it comes in. The range of scents are not as large as the batiste scents but there tends to be a scent for every person. The scents feel very sophisticated and professional almost like a fragrance for your hair.

I thought I'd add this cheeky little picture in at the end as a bit of a behind the scenes of the picture taking. When I was trying to take my photographs in my back garden for this post my sister's rabbit Rosie wanted to join in. She was nudging me and when I tried to take the photo she decided to jump on in and play with the products. She tend to like the batiste more than the CoLab.

Anyway I hope you have enjoyed this post, which is part of a new series that I am hoping to start doing. Where I compare similar products with each other, telling you which one I think is better. Remember to comment below telling me your opinions on these products and whether you like the idea of the new series of posts.

My Summer

As you know Summer is coming to an end which means nights are getting darker and the weather is getting colder. So to saviour the last little bit of summer I thought I'd share with you a few of the things that I have been up to. I might not have pictures for everything I'm going to tell you about, but I will tell you what I have got up to instead. Personally I can defiantly say that Summer 2015 was probably one of the best Summers I have had I spent a lot of time with the people I love the most.

I went on a lovely camping holiday with my Dad, sister and some friends. We had a great time and did many things such as fishing, beach walks. relaxing and making lots of great memories. It was a lovely break away from everyday life and a great start to the Summer.

I'm one of those people who can't stand staying in for a whole day just watching TV or lounging around in my pyjamas, I don't mind doing that in the morning or even afternoon as well but at some point in the day I like to go out even if it's for a walk as it makes me feel like I've done something with my day. So on days that I didn't have anything specific planned, I ventured off into the city centre to look around some shop and even got a cheeky little Costa,

Speaking of Costa I also met up with an old friend of mine. We had bumped into each other when we've been out but we hadn't had a good catch up in a while. So we went decided to got to Costa where we spoke for what felt like ten minutes but was actually hours.

I also attended the Balloon Fiesta with my friend Abbey. We watched the night glow, drank tea and got into the festival mood.

To end a beautiful Summer I went to the cinema with my two closest friends Connor and Abbey to watch The Bad Education Movie (which was really funny and a good film). It took quite a while to take a decent photo as we kept on laughing just at the point when the photo was taken. So after going through the photo's I took this was the most decent one.

As well as spending time with my friends I also went over my Aunties house. For me this was one of the best things about the summer as I haven't properly seen my family in a while as we live quite a distance from each other and both live busy lifestyles. I had an amazing time and felt very blessed to have such a wonderful family.
